Alan Reed was an American screen and voice actor, best known for his performance as Fred Flintstone in the ABC animated series, The Flintstones (also starring Jean Vander Pyl and Mel Blanc), produced by Hanna-Barbera.

Reed died of a heart attack in 1977, at the age of 69. He was replaced thereafter by Henry Corden.
