Alphonse LaFleur is a famous French hunter and trapper. He wanted to catch the Abominable Snowman using Scooby-Doo and Shaggy Rogers as bait.
Physical appearance[]
Alphonse is a short man, with a long, bushy red beard, and wears a racoonskin hat.
Personality[]
He used Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo's love of food to get them to be Yeti bait, and continually took advantage of their goodwill nature.
History[]
Chill Out, Scooby-Doo![]
He somehow tricked Shaggy and Scooby onto a plane as some tour ride. Despite having tons of pizza, ice cream, and doughnuts, they still asked for more food. Alphonse eventually got them into a crate by offering Scooby Snacks inside, then dropped them in the middle of the Himalayas. At their campsite, he set up scores of traps, all of which hit him instead of the monster. Later, he came after the Snowman when it attacked Del Chillman's radio station. During the fight, he fell off a cliff and was presumed dead. He survived, however, as the real Abominable Snowman had apparently saved his life.
