He disappeared from Las Vegas ten years back. There was a legend that he would return on the anniversary of his disappearance.

Prissy Parsley dressed up as him and claimed to be the one true King, but she was exposed. Daphne Blake discovered that the elderly bellhop, Jesse was allergic to polyester just as Parsley was. It is virtually certain that Jesse was the real Alvin, but he wouldn't admit it because being a star is a hard life.
