The Ape Man was the disguise of Grammy Rogers, Shaggy's grandmother, looking to prove that he was a mystery solver to her friends.
Physical appearance[]
Ape Man is a large, black-furred gorilla with red eyes and a large set of teeth.
Personality[]
Ape man is a very aggressive creature, but it tends to play favorites. This is shown when faced with a crossroads, it only chases Scooby, Fred and Velma.
History[]
Early life[]
The land that the retirement village was built on was once a zoo that shut down after an animal escape led to the whole city becoming infested with primates. All of the primates were caught, except for one an alpha male ape known as Crusher. It was theorized that he survived and stayed hidden in the wild after the zoo closed.
