He was unhappy working for the Mondo Wrestling Foundation and wanted to work for Tim Bender's National Wrestling Group instead. He dressed up as the Ghost of Mondo Mitchell and faked his own kidnapping to have an excuse to get out of his contract, and also please his new employer Bender by ruining a major wrestling event sponsored by his competitor, Malcolm Mitchell.
