The Baseball Specter was the disguise of Bob Taylor, based on the deceased Cab Craig.

Powers and abilities

He threw flaming baseballs which was actually done by dipping them in kerosene. It looked like he had the power to shatter giant lightbulbs with his mind, but this was achieved by hooking them up to a small generator causing to blow out. He also made it look like he could fly.

The Baseball Specter threatened Luis Santiago not to pass Cab's homerun record. Fred Jones had won a competition to meet Luis, and along with the gang helped capture the Baseball Specter. It was revealed to be really who was on the same team and the best friend of Cab and didn't want the latter's record passed. (The Unnatural)
