Scooby-Doo is clearly a very lucrative property, but I think it's got to the point where it's been overly abused now. At least when there's something new of Batman or Superman, people pay attention, with Scooby-Doo, it's more out of nostalgia, and then they go about their day.
I'll start at the bottom of this franchise with companies who have nothing but money on the brain and in their eyes: The comics. DC Comics have clearly no interest in doing quality work except for the Jim Lee pushed Scooby Apocalypse. Otherwise, there's Scooby-Doo, Where Are You? and Scooby-Doo! Team-Up (and if Jim Lee was such a fan, then maybe you'd think they'd push for higher quality comics all around?). Team-Up is an ambitious crossover of DC superheroes and Hanna-Barbe…Read more >
Cartoon Network did a really lousy job promoting and quickly airing Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! I don't think it's because it was such a terrible show, it's because CN clearly didn't care enough. What's more insulting, is that they still have some producer involved in the end credits for season 2, like it still needed the backing for what it clearly wasn't going to air (or maybe it was done with the believe that it was actually going to air on their channel).
Another thing that is disappointing, is that Boomerang didn't air what CN didn't want to, either. It turns out that Boomerang was getting its own Netflix-like website, only done in a manner of which someone had clearly no experience in making it, or running it, or promoting it. And when it open…Read more >
Some people have this big problem against red links. They frown upon them. But if used wisely, they can be really helpful, especially in finding where else you've done the same link for a particular subject. And you can use that same tactic in finding if you've made a mistake. So all in all, red links aren't bad. And it beats having to put them in after.Read more >
Maybe instead of having a different page for each new incarnation of the gang, there should just be one page with preference on the TV specials and DTVs, with the other appearances as "Other versions". The only reason why I was separating them is because I thought they were all entirely different versions from each (which was evident by LEGO Dimensions) that were as important as each other.Read more >

If I make a comparison between Rufus T. Dinkley and Donald Trump on Twitter, it's because they act and look similar in a certain way. It's not because of my views of how he acts as a president and that I think he's terrible and am secretly giving a "POLITICAL LEANING" to it, which by the way, is utterly ridiculous. I'm just telling the people who might find the comparison amusing. If you are a political person and/or don't like Trump, that's not my issue, that's yours.Read more >
At the beginning, I would just think wrong dates from TV Guide and Zap2it was just because Cartoon Network postponed, but they've consistently given wrong dates to the point of absurdity that I'm not even sure where or who they could've got the dates from to think it's okay for them to state this. Even after Turner revealed that Boomerang is going to have an online subscription service to air new Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!, TV Guide has given dates that have gone and passed with no new episodes that have aired, and it will be the same for the future dates they've put down. And the worst part of it is, when I've tried to tell either of them this, they ignore me. I remember once when I tried to tell Zap2it about something that was wrong, they actua…Read more >

DC Comics' Scooby-Doo! Team-Up has been around for more than three years now, and with everything they've done, I feel we're just about getting somewhere, but I also feel it could quite easily burn up just as easily.
The comic has broken new ground and properly established old ground, that in this comic the worlds of DC and Hanna-Barbera are not only relevant to the world of Scooby-Doo, but also co-exist together (at least when they feel it necessary to do so). It completely ignores the DTV, Scooby-Doo! Mask of the Blue Falcon, where Scooby's past adventures with Dynomutt, Blue Falcon, Speed Buggy, and so on, never happened, as they are all fictional characters. They could be real characters that have TV series based on them (The Adventures of …Read more >
In the US, there's six remaining episodes of season 1 of Be Cool, Scooby-Doo!, and if you hadn't noticed, we have a Twitter account, which I use to talk about the fact that Cartoon Network in the United States of America have yet to air the remaining episodes, despite the fact that season 2 is more or less finished. There may be five remaining depending on whether or not it actually did air on Boomerang.
And this is the point of my this blog, is that some people from the UK will tweet to me after they've seen my "When will it finish on CN?" tweets, that these episodes have aired all the time on Boomerang, as if I'm supposed to be incredibly surprised by this. In fact, it doesn't just air in the UK, it airs everywhere, including Canada (at le…Read more >
As a member of Scoobypedia, I got one thing to say.
What this wiki page needs is an increase in episode galleries, not just for Scooby-Doo shows like Where Are You? or What's New? but also direct-to-video movies like Zombie Island and more.
Do you think there should be an episode gallery? If not, why not?Read more >

There's an animated short done as an extra for the Aloha, Scooby-Doo! DVD, called An Evening with the Scooby-Doo Gang. I don't consider it to be canon for the following reasons.
- It's done in a tongue-in-the-cheek style, which takes their celebrity to areas that has never been done outside of this (comics would make them mini-celebrities, but nothing ever seems to come out of that for some reason. But that's another story).
- Scrappy is brought up, which does actually provide a much needed, albeit subtle, hint of what happened to him (which is, even the animated counterparts got fed up with him), but the fact that he is brought up still creates more problems than solving them as he's never been brought up outside of that. He seems to just not exi…
What I notice is that these three direct-to-video Scooby-Doo movies are rated TV PG: Wrestlemania Mystery, Frankencreepy, and Moon Monster Madness.
That leaves me with one question. Why have they been given this rating? What content could there be in those movies that lead to these movies getting such a rating rather than TV G or TV Y7?Read more >
I don't want to be one of those people that complain about one site on another, but I think people should know how registered users on Scooby Addicts forum are treated. (If I've banned you on this site, then you're probably thinking you got some payback or something (but I joke)). The worst part of it is I can't make up for what I've done. I can't apologise to anyone if I have upset anyone, and I have no timit limit. They won't even give me the decency of a time limit, I'm that bad. I don't know how you feel but I think episodes of What's New, Scooby-Doo? have been airing out of number order.

Tony Cervone recently called on fans in a tweet for our favourite monsters. This may have something to do with the upcoming big screen animated S.C.O.O.B., which has presumably been already written, may it's being rewritten, or maybe there'll be a bunch of monster cameos at the end? Today is the fourth day that I've worked on this wiki. I've already made a lot of edits related to the What's New, Scooby-Doo episode 'There's No Creature Like Snow Creature '. Multiple characters aside from the Mystery Inc. have been given descriptions of their physical appearances, their personalities, and their histories. I've gotten a new favorite character as well, who is Avalanche Anderson . My obsession with the character have gotten to the point where I plan to write a fan-based story that includes the Funky Phantom gang.

Now I believe that I've made a terrible mistake. I took screenshots of the episode mentioned. Then I edited out the unnecessary pieces (I took the images on Amazon video, since I bought them.). When I published the first image, I didn't know how to categorize it in terms of copyright. I shouldn't have posted that image, but I tagged it so it can be deleted. I'm sure you all consider What's New one of the best installments to the Scooby-Doo saga but answer this.
Do you have a best and worst episode of the show?
If yes, list episodes you could watch anytime and the ones you could do without.
- Riva Ras Regas - Love the near end where Lindsay Pagano sings Apple of My Eye.
- High-Tech House of Horrors - I love the part where Velma gets a makeover.
- Reef Grief! - Fred, Velma, and Daphne look good in wetsuits.
- Go West, Young Scoob - Hate the part where the gang goes to jail. Why would Sheriff Lawman treat these heroes like criminals?
- Diamonds Are a Ghoul's Best Friend - As usual, Fred's I.Q. needs work.

Lorraine was the ghost of the great haldane
Amelia Parmer was the sky skeleton
Ms. Handle was Monster Mutt
Lotte Lavoie was the phantom

Exactly five years today we were all awaiting a brand new series to air on Cartoon Network. After lot's of anticipation, the time finally came, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated... had begun. == huge fan of all scooby doo
When I was around 8 years of age my dad got me my first scooby doo movie. Man I was zoinked when I watched it for the first time. I was so zoinked that I had to watch it again. With that for most of my birthdays it has been about scooby doo.
My favorite character would have to be Velma, expecaly when it comes to the smart actress named Linda Cardellini. She was the first Velma that I ever like of all time. I would say that scooby is also my best because he doesn't care what people tell him even if he gets bullied.
The actual cartoons that my dad gave is like the only cartoons o watch now. I am hocked on mystery incorporated. I just finished the second season and I really must know what happens next.
Well I must go…

Hey there, S-D! fans! SonicFan here to announce that today (that's September 8, 2014) marks the big 3-0 to one of the best installments of the Scooby-Doo! saga.
It's called... *cue drum roll*
That's right. Thirty (30) years ago, NSDM made its debut on ABC on September 8, 1984.
What I liked about NSDM is the catchy theme, Velma and/or Fred making guest appearances in some episodes such as Happy Birthday, Scooby-Doo, and of course, the Dooby Doo Ado from the episode of the same name.
Personally, a gang of six members (which include Scooby, Shaggy, Scrappy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma) sounds better to me. (Twelve eyes are better than eight.)
Anyway, feel free to express what you liked or didn't like about The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries.

I always get users who claim they wish to help me. That's all well and good, but as I said in a previous blog, you're of no use to me if you are continuously bad at editing and haven't tried to get better by learning either from experience or just asking for help (so you don't clog up the history with your 20 or so attempts to get something right).
There's also the issue of sourcing your images and info you give on pages. I either get users who seem to do it under protest or others who choose to remain ignorant (but are fine giving a copyright notice on their YouTube uploads, you know who you are). Not only that, but when you're uploading images that aren't of your own creation and I really do mean not of your own 100% artistic creations (r…Read more >
Not sure of how many people are aware of this but, the official trailer for the next DTV Scooby-Doo movie is up on YouTube and Amazon. The next movie following up to "Wrestlemania Mystery" is entitled, "Scooby-Doo! FrankenCreepy", and from the looks of it, it will be released sometime in the beginning of Fall and will tie in with the Halloween season. Upon watching the trailer, my first impressions were how unique this movie looks compared to the others. What I mean by this is that it looks somewhat darker, the Mystery Machine has three jets, making it able to fly, and somehow Velma looks to be somewhat of an antagonist somehow...guess we'll find out why. All in all, I'm very excited for this one...it looks promising. Here's the link to th…Read more >
