Hey there, S-D! fans! SonicFan here to announce that today (that's September 8, 2014) marks the big 3-0 to one of the best installments of the Scooby-Doo! saga.
It's called... *cue drum roll*
That's right. Thirty (30) years ago, NSDM made its debut on ABC on September 8, 1984.
What I liked about NSDM is the catchy theme, Velma and/or Fred making guest appearances in some episodes such as Happy Birthday, Scooby-Doo, and of course, the Dooby Doo Ado from the episode of the same name.
Personally, a gang of six members (which include Scooby, Shaggy, Scrappy, Fred, Daphne, and Velma) sounds better to me. (Twelve eyes are better than eight.)
Anyway, feel free to express what you liked or didn't like about The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries.
This is SonicFan …

I always get users who claim they wish to help me. That's all well and good, but as I said in a previous blog you're of no use to me if you are continuously bad at editor and haven't tried to get better by learning either from experience or just asking for help (so you don't clog up the history with your 20 or so attempts to get something right).
There's also the issue of sourcing your images and info you give on pages. I either get users who seem to do it under protest or others who choose to remain ignorant (but are fine giving a copyright notice on their YouTube uploads, you know who you are). Not only that, but when you're uploading images that aren't of your own creation and I really do mean not of your own 100% artistic creations (rea…Read more >
Not sure of how many people are aware of this but, the official trailer for the next DTV Scooby-Doo movie is up on YouTube and Amazon. The next movie following up to "Wrestlemania Mystery" is entitled, "Scooby-Doo! FrankenCreepy", and from the looks of it, it will be released sometime in the beginning of Fall and will tie in with the Halloween season. Upon watching the trailer, my first impressions were how unique this movie looks compared to the others. What I mean by this is that it looks somewhat darker, the Mystery Machine has three jets, making it able to fly, and somehow Velma looks to be somewhat of an antagonist somehow...guess we'll find out why. All in all, I'm very excited for this one...it looks promising. Here's the link to th…Read more >
It seems to be a frequent case that if you are a fan of something it justifies your presence. So it doesn't matter if you are a bad editor or not, simply being a fan is good enough.
Well, the truth is you can like Scooby-Doo until you are blue in the face. You're a fan who really want to help. But if you're not a good editor who's unwilling to get better and take advice from me (the admin) then you are no help whatsoever. I do try and help you guys out and some of the time you're willing to comply, while others are either too lazy or just don't want to be helpful at all and choose to just ignore. Well you can ignore me, but it will just get you banned. And of course you can remain ignorant to that ban, but it won't get you anywhere.

I have to say, i don't really understand why the franchise has decided to make Fred Jones a clueless idiot. "A Pup Named Scooby Doo" did it, some of the early movies did it, the live action movies did it, "What's New Scooby Doo" did it, the most recent movies did it and Mystery Incorporated certainly did it. And the fact of the matter is, it's gotten kind of distracting for me: for example; WNSD and SD:MI all had very interesting premises, yet some of Fred's antics are hard to just overlook. Also, some of the most recent movies, like "Camp Scare", "Big Top Scooby Doo (or whatever it's called)" and "Wrestlemania" have ideas and concepts that I should really be into (more or less), but the way Fred is handled is kind of distracting.
All i'm s…

Happy Anniversary, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated!
Exactly four years today we were all awaiting a brand new series to air on Cartoon Network. After lot's of anticipation, the time finally came, Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated... had begun. Beware The Beast From Below was that episode that we first watched, after that we were hooked. Flash forward three years and we were still hooked on this show even after the series finale, Come Undone. We are also celebrating one year after Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated has ended. This show was amazing. I loved every second of it and is probably the best television show I have ever seen. I don't go a day without a thought about this show. I love this show.
Here's to hopefully getting a full series D…Read more >

I want to inform you all that the message wall system will be replacing users' talk pages. I hope this will be a more proficient/efficient way of communication here.
Some of you may have already used it on other wikis, but I'll just point out three important differences. 3. The message wall connects users from one end to another. If you sent a post to one person they will get it and vis versa. When someone replies to a message from their side, you'll get notified and you won't have to manually check.Read more >

Be Cool Scooby-Doo! brings back the iconic dog and his mystery solving team. In a press release posted at Deadline, Cartoon Network described it as a modern twist on the classic series. There’s no premiere date set for the Warner Bros. Animation production.
Cartoon Network has confirmed plans to reboot the classic animated series "Tom and Jerry," "Scooby-Doo" and "Bugs Bunny."

I'm not an expert, but I know basic things. One of them being is how to look go on your one's own talk page. For a few of you this is a problem, I don't know why, but it some how is. And this is causing problems because when you've done something wrong and I go to your talk page it means I'm trying to help you out, and when you continue to do the wrong thing it usually means you haven't checked your talk page either because you don't know how (or you can't be bothered) or you're purposely doing it wrong.
If you recieve a message a rectangle box at the bottom right hand corner of the screen will appear with the words "You have new messages". You simply have to click on that to go to your talk page. Or you can manually go to your talk page by…Read more >

I have observed the posted debate between User:FanOfCountry and User:Anythingspossibleforapossible about when information about characters can be put together and when it cannot. I dislike how only the Fan's point-of-view can be seen (since the other talk page with points by Possible has been closed down). I would like to contribute my own ideas, and see what others think.
The continuity divide is strong with the two live-action movie series, but most of the other animated movies, TV series, and comic books are relatively compatible (not Scooby Goes Hollywood, Shaggy and Scooby Doo, Get a Clue, and Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated however).
I'm in favor of accumulating details, and treating as much of the franchise material as possible as being …Read more >

I was hoping there was an ask section on this forum, but i couldn't find anything of the like, I'm trying to find an episode of Scooby Doo which i watched when i was younger but I don't remember much about it.
It began with Scooby and Shaggy in a vehicle (not necessarily the mystery machine) driving through a forest. They arrive and get out at a big mansion in a clearing. The vehicle starts sinking into the mud and they can't use it. I think that there as something in the mud as well like a body.
I also remember that there was something to do with a clock.

Let's hold off creating pages for Scooby-Doo! WrestleMania Mystery until it's been officially released which ever way that may be. All information on new films, specials and comics (and even episodes if a new series is to be made again) should only be added until it's been officially made available to the general public. Was wondering if anyone picked up or considered picking up the first issue of the new DC Scooby Doo comic series called, Scooby-Doo! It's a bi-monthly series, but the first six issues or so are the gang teamed up with Batman and Robin, and I actually read a preview of it, and they mention the events from The New Scooby Doo Movies where they defeat The Penguin and Joker. The second issue will be out in January and it still features Batman and Robin, but on that one, Scooby teams up with Ace the Bat Hound to defeat Batman's enemy the Scarecrow. So, Warner Bros. is making a new Scooby-Doo! animated movies for theaters, and it's supposedly going to be a revamp of the original classic Scooby-Doo's and it's formula. I know someone already made a post about this, but this blog is 100%, completely different. But I have this crazy idea, that could cause alot of talk, question and controversy. So, I wrote a blog on here called "The Return of Scrappy-Doo!" a while back, which I'm still getting comments on, haha. And anyway, I thought to myself, I wonder if in this new SD theatrical film, since it's a revamp of the original formula/show, I wonder if we would have any reference or nod to Scrappy-Doo. Now, I know it's very unlikely, but yet, very likely at the same time. I know the first Sco…Read more >
Warner are apparently attempting to bring a theatrical Scooby-Doo animated feature involving Atlas Entertainment (from the live-action TV films) and Charles Roven and Richard Suckle who worked on the first live-action theactrical film (and possibly the sequel). With people from both sides it's unknown really what they're continuing from. Is it a merging of both live-action continuites, a continuition of just one of them, a continuition of regular animated continuity or a completely new one? The movie also involves Matt Lieberman who's been hired to write it and Jesse Ehrman and Andrew Fischel who are overseeing the project.
The last film, Monsters Unleashed, was the last big screen outing and a planned sequel was dropped when that film didn'…Read more >

So, back in the 70's, everyone knew that during the New Scooby Doo Movies-era, Scooby was known for having special guest stars on their show. Some of the most remembered guest appearances were Batman and Robin and the Harlem Globetrotters. I know some people also have said they would have liked to see a modern TV show with today's celebrities on it. (I would still like to see that!) Although, with today's stars, it would never be truly like the original, but pretty cool. Anyway, Warner Bros. also recently made a deal to do a Scooby Doo-WWE crossover, bringing back their 'special guest star' like mysteries to that upcoming film. Well, I thought, one or two Scooby Doo movies comes out every year, and alongside that, WB also releases a Tom &a…Read more >

I'm sure all of you have not only seen episodes of different installments of the Scooby-Doo! saga (e.g. New Mysteries), but also found them in a collection called 13 Spooky Tales.
Here are the 4 titles as follows:
- Around the World
- Holiday Chills and Thrills
- Run for Your Rife
- Ruh-Roh Robot
However, there's one thing you should know before you even think of buying these DVDs: Each episode of The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries is incorrectly shown as two-part episodes when in fact, they're actually one episode each.
I think I prefer watching the specials from 3 of the DVDs (Haunted Holidays, Spooky Scarecrow, and Mecha Mutt Menace) on Cartoon Network.
Would you decide to buy these DVDs anyway or boycott them?

So recently I have been in the mood to play a Scooby Doo video game. But after a while, Night of 100 Frights, Mystery Mayhem, Unmasked, Classic Creep Capers get old. So, I was thinking, I really really wish that WB would invest into another new updated Scooby Doo video game. They are spending so much money on the franchise, but we haven't seen a SD video game in a while. I don't want it to be like First Frights or The Spooky Swamp. Why don't they do an all new original SD story in a brand new video game. I don't know, maybe with all new gameplay and things to do, to make you feel like you're apart of Mystery Inc. They could do what the Spongebob ranchise is doing... make a new game for all consoles. (excluding next gen ones) I would really…Read more >

The latest installment in Warner Brothers Scooby Doo franchise is a 45 minute puppet movie, heavily based on 'A Pup Named Scooby Doo!' I loved the APNSD series, and when I heard of them doing a puppet movie based on it, I was kind of excited. Now, the thought of the gang as puppets, really made me skeptical. Anyway, I bought the DVD at Walmart (where it is only available) and watched it. The whole 'puppet' thing is really nothing more than you would expect. Just think of the muppets crossed with APNSD, and you can see how that roles out. Now, the movie itself, is nothing like the DTV movies, which are far better, BUT, I do have to say this... this movie is not half bad. Believe it or not, the story was funny, to the point, and just like AP…Read more >
So, I know Scrappy Doo is one of the most hated characters alive, I get it. But, I wish someday, they would bring Scrappy back for at least one episode, TV Special, or DTV movie. Either as the bad guy, like in the SD Movie (getting revenge or something) or, returning to the gang as the same character he was in the older shows. Now, if they would bring him back as the good guy again, it'd be better if he was the same way he was in the movies, Reluctant Werewolf, The Boo Brothers and Ghoul School (toned down, less annoying, and sort of the 'brains' guy). I can understand how people would have gotten annoyed with the original Scrappy from the Scooby Doo and Scrappy Doo Show. And I also know it's very unlikely he will ever be brought back, but…Read more >
