Season one

Bud wanted revenge on Peter Trickell for taking the credit for his water. So Bud took on the disguise of the Man-Crab and abducted people at the beach. He had planned to have Skipper Shelton take the fall by planting some evidence in Skipper's locker.

When the Man-Crab was revealed to be Bud Daphne Blake asked why he hadn't called a lawyer for this, Bud stated that it would take too long for that. Bud was then arrested by Sheriff Bronson Stone and his men.
