History
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!
Season one
He turned the gang because Mr. Magnus didn't want to be disturbed. He was tricked into letting them in when they disguised themselves as waiters. As his boss spoke with the kids, he creepily spied on them from behind a curtain, scaring Scooby-Doo. The gang were surprised when Redbeard turned out to be Mr. Magnus underneath instead of his butler.
