The butler worked for C.L. Magnus.

Physical appearance

The butler is a tall, middle-aged male, with greyish skin, slender cheekbones and long eyebrows. He has brown hair and sideburns. He is dressed in a dark blue coat with a black bowtie, white undershirt and grey pants.

Personality

His spooky manner made him a suspect to be the Ghost of Redbeard.

History

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!

Season one

He turned the gang away because Mr. Magnus didn't want to be disturbed. He was tricked into letting them in when Velma Dinkley and Shaggy Rogers disguised themselves as hotel kitchen staff. As his boss spoke with the kids, he creepily spied on them from behind a curtain, scaring Scooby-Doo.

The gang was surprised when Redbeard turned out to be Mr. Magnus underneath, instead of his butler.
