Mr. Magnus was going to lose his business, so he dressed up as Redbeard's Ghost (with help from two henchmen as his crew) and stole his own cargo for the insurance.[1]

He teamed up with Cuthbert Crawls, Mama Mione, and Lila to get revenge on Mystery Inc..[2]
