Captain Moody's nephews captured their uncle and dressed up as his ghost in The New Scooby-Doo Movies episode Guess Who's Knott Coming to Dinner.
Physical appearance[]
Both nephews had fair skin and black eyes, and they both wore black dress shoes. The thin, blond one wore a tan turtleneck sweater, dark brown trousers, and black dress shoes. The slightly overweight, brunet one wore a cyan collared shirt and turquoise trousers.
Personality[]
They were both very greedy and selfish, seeing as they wanted their uncle's inheritance enough to do him harm.
History[]
The New Scooby-Doo Movies[]
Early life[]
At some point, their uncle Captain Moody made them co-beneficiaries, along with his nieces, of his estate.
Season one[]
Their uncle Captain Moody invited them and his nieces to a banquet, but they decided to arrive early to kidnap him and earn their inheritance more quickly. They tied their uncle up in a nearby mine and disguised themselves as Captain Moody's ghost to scare away anyone from there. Shaggy Rogers arrived first and mistook one of them as Detective Homer Pipsqueak (Don Knotts). The disguised nephew non-verbally directed him to go back to the house and followed him to where they bumped into the real Pipsqueak and Scooby-Doo. Realizing that he was with a "real" ghost, Shaggy ran off with the detective and Scooby. They found Fred Jones, who apparently met up with the other disguised nephew, and the four of them ran from the "ghosts" and passed Daphne Blake and Velma Dinkley (who also began running). The two nephews chased the sextet into the house and fell through the trapdoor, which was triggered by Pipsqueak wearing the suit of armor. They eventually returned to the mill where they found the gang and Pipsqueak and got caught in the trap set up for them. They were presumably arrested and sent to jail.

Notes/trivia[]
- It is unknown how they were related to each other. They were presumably either brothers or cousins, seeing as they shared an uncle.
- Pipsqueak, disguised as Phineas, mistook Fred and Shaggy for them. He called Fred "Ronald" so presumably that is the name of one of the nephews (likely the heavier one since Pipsqueak assumed that Ronald would be "big as a whale").
