History[]
Scooby-Doo! Unmasked[]
During the Museum construction, the caveman and some haywire animatronics scared off the workers. While the gang investigated the museum the caveman merely lurked around keeping an eye on them. Until things got really hairy then he began kidnapping members of the gang. Once the gang solves the case and finally manage to track the Caveman down they send Scooby to deal with him. Fred unmasks the Caveman and reveals him to be Joe Grimm the security guard. Velma explains that the black fluid on the bone wasn’t tar but oil and the tar pits at the front of the museum are actually a petroleum reserve. The bobbing dinosaur animatronics are actually pumping machines. Grimm tries to cut a deal with the gang but Daphne tells him that they don’t work with criminals.

Other versions[]
Scooby-Doo! Unmasked (DS)[]
The DS version has a slightly different ending than every other version of the game. After they captured the Caveman Fred unmasks him and reveals the Caveman to be Winslow Stanton. But right after that, another Winslow Stanton comes in with Jed. Jed and Fred reunite, when Fred asks Jed where he was, Jed explains that he was trapped in a mubber monster suit back at Monstrous Fright and Magic, but Winslow got him out. Shaggy then questions why there are two Stantons, Velma then explains that one of them is an imposter and presumably asks Fred to use a UV light to reveal the imposter Winslow Stanton's real identity which was Marcy. Velma explains that Marcy’s plan was to frame Stanton, not Jed. Stanton then asks Marcy why she did it, She then explains that even though Mubber was their creation he took all the credit for it. Marcy thought if she ruined Stanton’s name she could start her own business. Stanton tells Marcy that he had no idea how she felt and he would love to have her as a partner if she can forgive him Marcy forgives him and they make up.
