History[]
Scooby-Doo, Where Are You![]
Season one[]
Cosgood Creeps, along with his partner Mr. Cuthbert Crawls, were the attorneys of the late Colonel Beauregard Sanders. When Sanders' heirs, comprised of several relatives and Scooby-Doo, arrived at his mansion for the reading of his will, Creeps greeted them and informed the group that his colleague Mr. Crawls was unable to attend. He then revealed that Sanders' will specified that they must spend the night in his haunted mansion in order to receive their inheritance; any heir that might leave during the middle of the night would be cut out of his fortune. Creeps then left the heirs to spend the night alone in the mansion.
After all the heirs except for Scooby went missing, apparent victims of the haunted mansion's green ghosts, the gang was able to trap the ghosts and reveal that they were really Sanders' attorneys, Creeps and Crawls, who conspired to scare all the heirs away from the mansion so that they could take control of the Sanders fortune. The police officer arrests them stating that they will need lawyers where their going.
He and his partner's crimes later turned out to be pointless, as the fortune was all in confederate money and was worthless.[1]
Scooby-Doo! Frankencreepy[]
Some of the case was highlighted on Daphne Blake's webshow after Shaggy Rogers got the Phantom Shadow case confused with the Mamba Wamba case.
It was then shown again from Velma Dinkley's phone (including the unmasking) after the gang caught the revenge-seeking conspiracy group, involving Crawls.[2]
Trick or Treat Scooby-Doo![]
Cosgood is among the prisoners of Coolsville Penitentiary who were accidentally freed by Warden Collins. He was later recaptured by the gang using costumes provided by Coco Diablo.

Apocryphal[]
Supernatural[]
Brothers Sam and Dean Winchester were sucked into "A Night of Fright is No Delight" by a real ghost where they witnessed the beginning of Cosgood's plot, where he delivered his speech to Colonel Sanders' heirs. Dean identified Cosgood as the villain to Sam, who commented "no kidding."
In this instance, Cosgood was killed by the real ghost who took on the form of one of the fake Green Ghosts. After being captured by the Winchesters with the help of the Scooby Gang, the ghost took on Cosgood's form and allowed himself to be "unmasked" to trick the Scooby Gang into restoring their wholesome mindset.[3]
