As a voice actress, Summer is best known for voicing Penny in Inspector Gadget (co-starring Don Adams and Frank Welker), Elmyra Duff in Tiny Toon Adventures (co-starring Charlie Adler and Tress MacNeille), Susie Carmichael on Rugrats (starring Kath Soucie, E.G. Daily, and Tara Strong), Princess Kida in Atlantis: The Lost Empire (co-starring Phil Morris), Foxxy Love in Drawn Together (also starring Jess Harnell and Tara Strong), and Numbuh 5 in Codename: Kids Next Door (opposite Ben Diskin, Dee Bradley Baker, and Lauren Tom).
