E*I*E*I*O is the second half of the twelfth episode of The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries. It was preceded by A Scarey Duel with a Cartoon Ghoul.
Premise[]
The kids head over to the Experimental Institute for Evolutionary Improvement of Organisms, also know as E.I.E.I.O., to help old Mr. MacDonald, the director, discover who is creating monsters with the secret formula that he developed to create large amounts of food.
Synopsis[]
The episode begins with Scooby, Scrappy, Daphne, and Shaggy driving the Mystery Machine to Old MacDonald's Experimental Institute for Evolutionary Improvement of Organisms also known as E.I.E.I.O. to help Old MacDonald. Scooby gets out of the Mystery Machine dress as a farmer with a basket and goes to collect eggs from the Hen House. However, the chicken kicks him out and steals back its giant egg. Old MacDonald shows up and meets the gang and tells them they have a big mystery much to their surprised. He explains to them that they do experiments in order to produce greater amounts of food, but someone is creating dangerous experiments to create monsters instead of food. He points to them a lamb who seems harmless but is actually a genetic demon.
Scrappy goes to pet him, despite warnings not to touch him, but ends up getting beat up by the lamb. MacDonald also reveals that someone had turn a mouse into a thirty-foot giant. Shaggy and Scooby want to leave, but Daphne reminds them they have a mystery in solve and went to go question MacDonald's employees, unaware the Monster Mouse was hiding behind a hay tower and spying on them. They went to go see Mr. Memory who is working on some experiments and ask to stop the gang around. MacDonald also tells the gang to keep an eye on him, Mr. Memory shows them a tree with Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches, Scooby takes one of the sandwiches and cause all the sandwiches to come flying off the tree. As Mr. Memory leaves to go work on his experiments, Daphne suspects him creating monsters, Daphne sent Shaggy and Scooby to follow him while she and Scrappy go check on the other employees.
Daphne and Scrappy then meet Eunice who is milking a cow who only milks chocolate Milk but accidentally milks dark chocolate, she breaks them on another failure. Scooby and Shaggy continue following Mr. Memory but bumps into Parker who bored, he shows Shaggy and Scooby a pig who runs very fast and back into its pin. MacDonald shows up and asks how the investigation is going and wants to speak to Parker about his behavior. As they leave, the Giant Mouse shows up and causes destruction and the gang hides in a barrel. After the giant mouse leaves, MacDonald comes out his building without his glasses on and tells them there was a formula mix up in the lab and it's been corrected.
When Scrappy asks about the giant mouse and the destruction it cause, MacDonald tells them it's all been taking care of and goes back in his house. Shaggy and Scooby are about to leave but come upon a monster mouse Chow Pullet where they Eunice in the hey tower fixing to leave the giant mouse. The gang flees as the giant Mouse chases after them, Scooby rides a Tracker and made the word "Relp" on it. The Monster Mouse then hears a voice, and it leaves. The gang learns the monster mice is being control and wondering who could be controlling it.
They see Eunice and confesses that she has been feeding the Monster Mouse because she feels sorry for it, the Monster Mouse then appears, Shaggy, Scrappy, and Daphne hop on horses while Scooby rides a pig. The Monster Mouse approaches electric cables, but Scooby stops it, it picks up Scooby and kisses him for saving him. The Monster Mouse then hears the voice and orders it to attack Mystery Inc, but the Monster Mouse goes after the tower, removes the roof and its MacDonald who was controlling it. The Monster Mouse grabs MacDonald and drops him in the hay, who was actually parker in disguise. Parker reveals he wanted to take over the farm and makes millions with MacDonald's farm, they then find the real MacDonald tied up in a barrell.
Later, MacDonald thanks Daphne, Shaggy, Scrappy, and Scooby for solving the mystery, but Shaggy ask how she knew the MacDonald they unmasked was a fake. Daphne reveals the real MacDonlad needed glasses to see while McCoy used fake lens. Mr. Memory reveals he shrunk the Monster Mouse back to its regular size and asks them to take it as a gift for saving the farm. The now small Monster Mouse jumps on Scooby and kisses him in the mouth.
