Ebenezer Shark is a beach hermit.

Physical appearance

Shark is a tall Caucasian male figure with unkempt black hair and a prominent chin and nose. He wears a long, blue coat with a dark red scarf and woolly hat.

Personality

He has a pirate-like personality as he says "Aye" and pronounce "my" as "me". He also has strange manner so the gang consider him as a suspect.

History

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!

Season one

He told the gang about the rumor of the Ghost of Captain Cutler. While exploring there, Scooby-Doo found his old diving suit in the hold, he fell into it and began barking as he tried to get out of the suit. Ebenezer told them to go up to the Old Lighthouse to talk to Widow Cutler who had been married to Captain Cutler. (A Clue For Scooby Doo)

Notes/trivia

While it's not explicitly confirmed, Ebenezer could be retconned as a citizen of Coolsville, the town the gang grew up in as kids as depicted in A Pup Named Scooby-Doo.
