Alvin Wiener was a member of the failing rock band called Def Potato. He impersonated the Guitar Ghoul, trying to ruin the reputation of the competition.
Physical appearance[]
Alvin is a tall man, with long brown hair, accompanied by a soul patch. In his 3D model, he wears a red T-shirt and blue jeans with a black belt. In his sprite, he wears sunglasses and a blue t-shirt.
Personality[]
Alvin is a fan of music, especially that of the Guitar Ghoul, of who he was the self-proclaimed "biggest fan". He also does not like dogs, as he is shown to make negative remarks towards Scooby-Doo.

When the gang investigated the theme park based on the Guitar Ghoul, they found Alvin, who pretended to be his biggest fan.
The gang soon caught the fake Guitar Ghoul, and found out that it was Alvin who wanted to destroy the competition from the inside; he blamed the failure of his band on the success of the Guitar Ghoul, who in reality was the disguise of Nikki Starlight.

- The DS version uses both of Alvin's designs despite them looking very different.
- The name of his band, Def Potato, could be a reference to the band Def Leppard.
