Armando is a man of Costa Rican descent with black hair that is slicked back and a small mustache. He wears a dark rose colored suit with a pink shirt under it. He also wears a violet tie. His shoes have a fancy style and are black and white.

Armando is an open person who is very welcoming to those who come to his museum. He also cares about the museum's popularity.

Season one[]
He originally invited Daphne's uncle to come to the dinosaur exhibit at his museum, but he was happy that Daphne and the gang were able to make it in his stead. He also introduced Melbourne O'Reilly, the museum's archaeologist, and Heather Lane, an exchange student, to them.
After the dinosaur spirit terrorized the exhibition, he said that the destroyed areas could be rebuilt. Armando also believed that the recent excitement could bring more visitors to the museum. This attitude brought him into suspicion of being the creature.
After the real culprits were arrested, he told the gang that he was glad for their investigation. He said that the gold that was discovered in the mine shafts under the museum was going to help rebuild the museum. He also believed that it would become a new and exciting exhibition.
