Artie Fackt is an archaeology professor.

Physical appearance[]

Artie is a large man with balding, white hair and sideburns. He wore glasses, a light green shirt with four pockets on the front, a brown belt, dark green shorts, and brown boots.

Personality[]

He's a nice man and is also pretty smart since he knew the history of Los Borritos, a famous outlaw town in Puerto Rico.

If he was the culprit[]

He's very greedy, as he wanted the gold that was hidden in the walls of the post office in Los Borritos all for himself. He even shown to have a bit of trickery in him as he tried to fool the gang into thinking the Faceless Rider chained him up, when in reality he was using a page in the 1001 escapes tricks book to chain himself up.

Prof. Fackt unmasked.

While the gang was exploring Los Borritos, they found him in the saloon chained up to a chair. After a bit of searching the room, they found two keys and used them to remove the chains and free him. He thanked the gang and they talked for a bit. He explains that he and his students were excavating the town, until a ghost of one of the outlaws that use live there captured him and tied him up in the saloon. It even scared away most of his students (except for one).

After the conversation was over, he gave the gang a clue as a reward for helping him. He was later added to the gangs list of suspects do to his knowledge of the town.

Possible ending[]

He heard about the old Brick in the Wall Gang's hidden gold and wanted to steal it all for himself. He went in disguise as the Faceless Rider to scare all his students away from the town so he could get the gold, he used a 1001 escape tricks book to chain himself up in the saloon to put the gang off track just so they wouldn't suspect him. His plan was foiled and he was arrested by Officer Wyatt.
