Balloon

A balloon is a flexible bag that can be inflated with a gas, such as helium, hydrogen, nitrous oxide, oxygen, or air.

Physical appearance[]

Balloons are made of materials such as rubber or latex, and can come in a variety of colours. Strings can be wrapped tightly around the neck, to carry the balloon, without actually having to hold it directly.

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You![]

Season one[]

Scooby became tangled in a group of helium balloons powerful enough to lift him into the air. While he was airborne, the Ghost Clown threw darts to pop the balloons and send him hurtling back down to the group, but he was saved by Shaggy and Velma's quick thinking. The Ghost Clown also tricked the gang into trapping a life-size balloon of himself. After the mystery was solved and the circus reopened, a child in the stands had a balloon shaped like a dog's head.[1]

After Scooby was in position on the rocky ledge to dump water on the Snow Ghost, Shaggy used a ballon to send him some Scooby Snacks from the ground below.[2]
