Buck is a mechanic in Roswell, New Mexico.
Physical appearance[]
Buck is a tall and bulky Native-American man with imposing features such as semi-tanned skin, long raven black hair tied in a ponytail with a red bow, pronounced cheekbones, flat nose, and a wide trapezoid-shaped jawbone. He also has a deep masculine voice. His clothing consists of a denim blue car mechanic attire with a white tag containing his name above the left chest pocket, a white sweatshirt underneath, a red work cap worn backwards with a blank tag, a white cloth hanging out from the left hip pocket of his pants, and black work shoes/boots.
Personality[]
Although Buck is initially seen as a very reserved and cold hearted man, this persona is more of a coverup, as he thinks that showing yourself as a soft person to others would make them "walk all over you." In reality, he is good natured, as he collects desert flowers as a personal hobby.
History[]
Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders[]
To fix the radiator for their van, the gang visits Buck's repair shop. However, he coldly dismisses them, stating that he will get it fixed when he is able to.
Later while riding on Lester's truck, Fred, Velma, and Daphne spot him on the middle of the desert picking flowers. Coldly dismissed by him again, the gang places their suspicions on him.
After the gang solves the mystery at Scorpion Ridge, Buck finally gets the Mystery Machine repaired, bringing it to them with his towtruck. Thanking him for his service, Fred asks what he was doing by himself in the desert earlier. Initially hesitant to answer, Buck confesses that he was collecting flowers in the desert as a personal hobby. He then adds on that he prefers to keep a low profile, stating that people will take advantage of others for being too kind. He then leaves with a warm smile, trusting that the gang can keep his secret well from others.
