Scooby-Doo! Case File #1: The Glowing Bug Man is a 2002 Windows XP game by The Learning Company for ages 5-10. The game has different simulated endings depending on the game difficulty and the clues found throughout the game.
Premise[]
When visiting the Kudzula County Museum of Natural History, the gang run into the glowing Bug Man.
Synopsis[]
The gang arrive at the museum only to find a sign that says "Closed Due To Bug Man" which confuses the gang. Scooby then smells a trail of a glowing green substance until he spots the Bug Man himself! The gang got so frighted they ran inside. While walking around the deserted museum Shaggy and Scooby walked to the cafeteria only to find a shadow coming towards them only to reveal to be the security guard Nigel Nightwatch, after introducing themselves to him he told them the museum had got no visitors because of the Bug Man and on the verge of closing if he isn't stop. Nigel suspects one the museum staff is behind it, so Fred tells him they'll solve the mystery. There are games to play and after completing the game you get a clue then you match clues in the suspect's files once you find all five clues and one of the suspects matches them all is the culprit. while exploring the exhibits you notice one tape recorder in each one record by a suspect. After playing all the games and got the clues the Bug Man appears and chases Scooby and Shaggy until they crash into Nigel who's carrying double scoop ice cream. Once the Bug Man is unmasked it's revealed to be one the suspects that match the 5 clues and Velma explains the reason why. Nigel thanks the gang for their help and can open the museum but then Scooby and Shaggy spot green slime on the floor assuming the Bugman is back, only to reveal that it's melted mint chocolate chip ice cream and Scooby and Shaggy started licking it.
