The cat creatures were the disguises of some of Professor Peabody's archaeologists, including McGurty. They used the disguises when they found a Mayan pyramid with a salt mine and a room full of treasures, to keep the others away.

Physical appearance

There were four of them. They all have muscular builds, black hair and cat-like features consisting of pointy ears, long tails, sharp claws and teeth, they had yellow fur with black and brown spots on them.

Personality

In an act, the cat creatures were simply being protectors of the pyramid.
