I ain't in this game for a pat on the back. I'm in it for justice."

—Ghost of Dead Justice, Dead Justice

The Ghost of Dead Justice was the disguise of Deputy Bucky, who wanted to discredit Sheriff Bronson Stone and become sheriff himself. The disguise was based on Will Williamson, a lawman serving in Crystal Cove in the Old West.

Physical appearance[]

The ghost of Dead Justice dressed like a sheriff from the Old West, wearing a brown coat, gold badge, cowboy hat and red bandana. Due to being undead, Dead Justice's face has decomposed, having a skeletal face with very little skin covering it. His left eye was red and dark.

Personality[]

Dead Justice was seen as a hero by the town for stopping various outlaws and handing them to the authorities. However, it turned out that Dead Justice only captured the outlaws to discredit Sheriff Bronson Stone and take his position. He made death threats to those that got in his way.

Powers and abilities[]

  • Horseback riding: He owns a luminous, skeletal horse named Greg, who he uses for fast transportation.
  • Lasso: He owns a fiery lasso, which he uses to capture enemies.
  • Demon Bullets: Dead Justice can fire "demon bullets", bullets with a shark-like appearance that explode in green light when touching a surface. In reality, these bullets are only CGI animations projected from the revolver. These bullets are not capable of causing any damage, though they are very effective in intimidating enemies.

History[]

Early life[]

The ghost was based on Will Williamson, a sheriff in the Old West who went by the name Dead Justice. Although Williamson helped accomplish law and order in Crystal Cove, he died while trying to capture his rival, Nitro Wisinski.

Season one[]

Deputy Bucky unmasked

Deputy Bucky unmasked.

The Ghost of Dead Justice was a disguise created by police Deputy Bucky to discredit Sheriff Bronson Stone and take over his position as sheriff, as Bucky was unable to pass the application exams. Dead Justice was first seen catching the Piranha-Goat monster, when Fred Jones, Jr.'s trap failed to do so.

The ghost of Dead Justice succeeded as Mayor Fred Jones, Sr. handed the position of sheriff over from Bronson Stone to Dead Justice.

Bronson Stone collaborated with Mystery Inc. to capture Dead Justice. Bronson Stone posed as the ghost of Nitro Wisinski to trap him. This plan succeeded, Dead Justice's identity was revealed as Deputy Bucky, and Bucky was handed over to the authorities.[1]

Season Two[]

The Ghost of Dead Justice appeared on the wall as a graffiti along with the Ghost Girl, during a flashback of Randy Warsaw’s artwork.[2]

Post-Nibiru[]

When the Evil Entity was destroyed, it altered all of reality for Crystal Cove; thus the Ghost of Dead Justice was never used as a disguise in the past.[3]
