He is large and tough-looking, with short hair as per military standards, and wears the standard military uniform, comprising of combats, a garrison cap and combat boots.
Personality[]
Like any drill instructor, he is very rough and strict on the recruits, especially Shaggy Rogers. He calls Shaggy "Private Hippie."

He was seen in the scene at the military academy, in which he was barking orders at a class of recruits. He takes great displeasure at slackers and is very rough on Shaggy, though no further interactions was shown, because the training was interrupted by Scooby crashing a tank into the barracks to rescue Shaggy.

- Given the green uniform worn by the drill instructor and recruits and how he was addressed as "sir", it is very likely that the drill sergeant is, in fact, a drill instructor
- Drill Sergeants are strictly United States Army terms and aren't addressed as "sir" or "ma'am", whereas Drill Instructors in the United States Marine Corps, Company Commanders in the United States Coast Guard and Military Training Instructors in the United States Air Force are addressed as such by recruits; Coast Guard recruits address their Company Commanders as "sir" or "ma'am" for the first two weeks of recruit training before addressing them by rank and surname.
