The Ghost of Stealin' Stan was the disguise of Stealin' Stan.

Physical appearance[]

Although Stealin' Stan is a very slim man, his ghost costume was extremely muscular, being larger than most other inmates in the prison. He has black eyes and dark blue hair, and wears a tattered orange prison jumpsuit, as well as several shackles and chains on his neck, wrists and ankles.

Additionally, he has a green-blue complexion with light-blue veins in his body to make it appear as though he drowned in the sea in an attempt to escape. In reality, Stan filled his costume with a mix of water and bioluminescent algae that he had grown in a prison wall.

Personality[]

Stan does not speak, making no sounds short of menacing growls. His purpose was to scare off people who were trying to prevent him from sneaking into the warden's office.

Powers and abilities[]

  • Brute Strength: Stealin' Stan possesses great physical strength, and is able to easily break through walls and chains.

History[]

Early life[]

Prior to being sent to the Vault, Stan was falsely accused of a heist that occurred on October 29, 1990. Despite being innocent, he was found guilty and sent to the Vault, a maximum-security prison. He tried to request a retrial to prove his innocence, and there was photographic evidence verifying his alibi, but his letters to the court were intercepted by Warden Wayne Bowman, and Bowman also kept the evidence in a safe to prevent Stan from being proven innocent.

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo![]

Stealin' Stan escaped his cell, which caused rumors to surface that Stan had drowned in the sea. In reality, he never left the prison, having lived in a hideout inside a prison wall. Creating a costume, he posed as his own ghost so he could get into Wayne Bowman's safe to get evidence showing his innocence. He was first shown attacking two prisoners who had been tasked with cleaning the warden's office.
