The gang met Harry while he was at his ranch where he was training one of his horses, he explains to them about the ghosts being fearsome creatures and suggests the gang should leave town before they return. Despite his advice, the gang went back to Phantom Gulch to investigate.

He wanted to scare people away from the town so he could buy the property cheap, and then sell it for a huge profit to a big company that wanted to build an even bigger western amusement park.

After Harry was taken to prison, all the townsfolk he scared away came back and everything went back to normal.
