He praises the gang for uncovering A. Fong's smuggling ring and capturing Fong and his henchmen.

Season two[]
He responded to the gang's capture of the Ghost of Zen Tuo and his hooded zombie minions who were really A. Fong and his two henchmen. While handcuffed to the trio, Inspector Lu told the gang that they couldn't find any evidence to uncover Fong's smuggling ring, but thanks to them finding the recorded tapes containing shipping dates (hidden in a mask) they could finally expose his shady dealings.
