Lotte Lavoie is a singing diva who has won several talent shows.

Physical appearance[]

Lotte is an African American female with long wavy violet hair. She has big black eyes and her eyelids are covered with a pink eye shadow. She is tall and muscular. She has very long and resistant nails covered with purple nail varnish.

Personality[]

She is in many ways a cruel woman. Uncaring about others, even to her fans (criticizing a small girl's wardrobe choice and making her cry). She has a really bad temper, and her attitude makes her sound very murderous.

Skills and abilities[]

She has very long purple nails that are strong enough to break through walls, write on shirts, tongues and even shed the fur on Scooby-Doo's chest like a razor.

History[]

Early life[]

She won America's Got Singing, Sing or Die, and Singetty-Sing-Song-Song.

Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright[]

She was a contestant on Talent Star. She came to Giovanni's Pizza for attention, where she found Shaggy Rogers and Scooby and threatened Daphne Blake & Fred Jones through them with physical abuse, so she became a suspect to be the Phantom.

She showed up at the door of the gang's hotel room to threaten them, but was slammed on by Shaggy and Scooby.

She was awoken by the Phantom chasing Scooby and Shaggy around the hotel and went back to sleep when it was over.

While she was sleeping, the Phantom switched her throat spray with a chemical irritant so at the rehearsal she lost her voice and had to retire from the contest. She was checked by a doctor who informed her she wouldn't be able to sing for at least a week, leading her to threaten a lawsuit against everyone, including her own bodyguards.

Notes/trivia[]

  • The Atlantic Ballet Theater of Canada produced a ballet version of The Phantom of the Opera, and Denis Lavoie did the lighting.
  • The name and character of Lotte are based on the character Carlotta in the original The Phantom of the Opera. Both are experienced and famous singers, both are divas, both have abrasive personalities, and both are the main competition to their version's Christine.
    • Also, both use a throat spray before performing. This becomes a plot point when the Phantom switches Carlotta/Lotte's bottle with an identical bottle he had filled with an abrasive fluid, which causes Carlotta/Lotte to "croak" on stage.
