Season one[]
Cooking ghost pirate stew.
When the Ghost of Redbeard captured Shaggy and Scooby-Doo on his ship, he planned to have them killed unless they were good at anything. Shaggy said that he and Scooby were good cooks, so Redbeard ordered them to cook him dinner. In the ship's kitchen, Shaggy boiled seawater while Scooby added chains, stove ash, cobwebs, and soap, creating "ghost pirate stew". As soon as they served the stew to Redbeard, the ghost became suspicious and forced Shaggy and Scooby to eat it. The duo began to eat the stew until they found out that the soap made them spit out bubbles. Getting an idea, Shaggy blew bubbles into Redbeard's face, giving him and Scooby time to flee.
