Mario was a friend of Antonio, one of the the gang's friends who worked in Venice, Italy.
Physical appearance[]
Mario is a man with brown hair. He wears a light blue turtle neck sweater, blue pants and light gray shoes. He appeared to have brown eyes, but they were actually green, concealed by red contact lenses.
Personality[]
Though he seemed like a nice guy, Mario revealed himself to be greedy and selfish when Velma mentioned he didn't want to share the lost treasure with Antonio.

Mario unmasked.
He dressed up as the Ghostly Gondolier to steal Antonio's medallion and three others like it, so he could find the lost treasure of Doge Malvolio IV. He didn't plan on sharing it with Antonio, the only other known descendant of the Doge.
