Shaggy Rogers was originally supposed to present a sculpture of Scooby-Doo's head for the exhibit that was being held here, but it shattered after the Wakumi dropped it on the ground. So instead, Shaggy had the idea to cover Scooby in sand and make him pose as a lifelike statue. Everyone at the exhibit liked Shaggy's lifelike statue.
