Pirate skull

The pirate skull is a voice-activated code device shaped like a skull.

Physical appearance[]

The skull is off-white, with a dark blue bandana. It is attached to a long skeletal neck.

History[]

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You![]

Season one[]

It popped up out of a sea-chest and spoke, startling Shaggy Rogers and the others. It actually contained a microphone and it was used to prompt for a password to a secret cave in Skull Island.[1]

Appearances[]

Notes/trivia[]

  • The pirate skull was voiced by Frank Welker.
  • The password to the secret entrance is "Yum, yum, yum and a liverwurst a la mode", referring to a sandwich which appeared previously in Scooby Doo and a Mummy, Too, and was seemingly invented by Shaggy and/or Scooby-Doo, which makes it even more strange that it was part of the password. The skull can be assumed to simply respond to any lengthy password stated.
