History[]

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated[]

Early life[]

While working the trade boats in Indonesia, Ned trained Roberto to steal things using bells. However, Roberto soon became obsessed with bells and started stealing them and whatever was attached to them as well.

Season two[]

Roberto

Roberto in human disguise.

Roberto the human unmasked

Roberto the human unmasked.

He was dressed as a human while helping his master's cheese shop. He was later disguised as the Hodag of Horror to frame Gene Shepherd by stealing valuable objects and planting them in his traveling show to make it possible to break his security, steal his key, and take the 500-year old cheese that Shepherd kept as his prize possession. He also kidnapped Nova due to the bell on her collar. After he was caught and unmasked, Ned took Nova hostage until Scooby threw the cheese at him, and both of them were arrested.[1]

Post-Nibiru[]

When the Evil Entity was destroyed, it altered all of reality for Crystal Cove, thus the Hodag of Horror wasn't a disguise in the past.[2]
