Norville "Shaggy" Rogers[1] is the owner and best friend of the talking Great Dane, Scooby-Doo.
Physical appearance[]
Shaggy is a teenaged boy with curly brown hair, distinct eyebrows, and a goatee. He wears a variety of clothes, mostly including either green or a light brown. He also wears merchandise for the DC Comics character Black Adam.
Personality[]
Shaggy is a happy-go-lucky guy, who loves food, comics, and spending time with Scooby. He cares for Scooby very much and wouldn't let anybody harm him. He was quite lonely before meeting Scooby, although he tried to make the best of it. He tried to be a good house guest when Daphne Blake, Fred Jones, and Velma Dinkley visited, even if he thought it was okay to serve dog food.
Shaggy's favorite comics are Batman and Black Adam.
Despite his happy and somewhat goofy persona, he gets very nervous when it comes to monsters. He talks with somewhat of a screechy voice, which gets higher the more afraid he gets.
