Scooby-Doo! Case File #2: The Scary Stone Dragon is a 2003 Windows XP game by The Learning Company for ages 5-10. The game has different simulated endings depending on difficulty and the clues found throughout the game.

Premise[]

As the gang visits China to celebrate the Chinese New Year, they find out that a scary stone dragon has been scaring the tourists away. The gang needs to find out who is behind this Stone Dragon and end the madness.

Synopsis[]

Shaggy and Scooby were at Ming's Chinese Cuisine, opening fortune cookies until they open one that says they had won a free trip to China. They would travel there for both Chinese New Year and the grand opening of Emperor Zhu's Underground Palace. The Palace, however, was rumored to place a curse on anyone who disturbs the buried emperor.

While at the temple, Shaggy told Scooby to take a picture of him with a dragon statue, that suddenly cracked and came to life! The Gang were so scared they spilled Scooby Snacks on a tower. Daphne assumed the curse was real but Velma was doubtful, so Fred declared they had a mystery to solve.

Around the village there are firecrackers with riddles that lead to a clue. There are 5 suspects and they have to play games to earn five clues and match them to a suspect. Whoever matches all five clues is the culprit. After getting all five clues Velma had a plan to lure the dragon through the maze and bribe Scooby and Shaggy with bowls of noodles. When the dragon came they got spooked and landed on it.

Once the dragon was unmasked, one of the suspects who matched all five clues was revealed and Velma explains why. With Dragon revealed the celebration can go on. When Velma told Shaggy and Scooby the noodles got ruined when they were on the ground, Shaggy and Scooby ate them anyway and Fred, Daphne, and Velma walked away. As Shaggy was eating the ground noodles he got scared by the dragon mask used by Scooby.
