It's Mean, It's Green, It's The Mystery Machine
One of the well known Scooby-Doo memes, starting in the very first episode of the franchise, is Velma Dinkley losing her glasses. It has been a regular occurrence through the various incarnations on TV, in movies and comics, etc.
Velma is severely nearsighted, rendering her nearly blind without her glasses. When she loses them, she typically stumbles around knocking things over, or crawls on the ground feeling for them with her hands. There are occasions when she has deliberately lost them, or had them taken from her.
She frequently exclaims "My glasses. I can't see a thing without my glasses!" (or a variation of it) when she loses them.
What a Night for a Knight: Scooby warns her of the Black Knight behind them. Scooby runs into her and then knocks Velma to the ground. In his run, he causes Velma to lose her glasses. Velma mistakes the Black Knight for Shaggy Rogers, and gives the latter cough syrup to help his voice.
Foul Play in Funland: Happens when she and Scooby take a ride in a runaway electric cart, set off by Shaggy.
A Gaggle Of Galloping Ghosts
A Gaggle of Galloping Ghosts: She ducks when attacked by a vampire coming straight ahead, causing her to crawl, bump her head against a table, and lose her glasses. She then goes through a secret door behind the fireplace while looking for them.
That's Snow Ghost: Happens when Scooby-Doo and Velma (the latter chained to a wood log) are running away from the titular Snow Ghost. Scooby picks up her glasses (causing the girl to demand them back), to see that the creature has sent another log with dynamite strapped to it.
Jeepers, It's the Creeper: Happens when Shaggy and Scooby encounter the Creeper, by running into her whilst carrying the box of plates. Later, Velma dares to defy the monster into "hitting a girl with glasses". The Creeper snatches her glasses (instead of her losing them), which causes a disgusted Velma to kick him in the knee and take the glasses back. (Strangely, she was able to grab them with ease.)
The Dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair: She was hit by the toy clown, and accidentally turns on a toy car while looking for her glasses.
The Scooby-Doo Show[]
A Bum Steer for Scooby: While she looks for them, the gang encounter a skeleton. This causes Daphne to bump into Velma, knocking her glasses off her face.
A Bicycle Built for Boo!: During the dance/chase scene in the basement of the Furgeson Estate, she "skids out of control" and Scooby saves her from many dangerous obstacles.
It's Mean, It's Green, It's the Mystery Machine: While riding a scooter, her glasses fall off leading her to get down and search for them causing her to almost get hit by the possessed mystery machine.
She Sees Sea Monsters by the Sea Shore: While underwater, a sea turtle knocks Velma's prescription goggles off. She asks Scooby to help her look. At this point Motoshondu hovers in front of Shaggy, Scooby, and Velma. As Scooby nervously passes them to her, Velma puts her glasses back on, looking the sea serpent right in the face.
The Vampire Strikes Back: While attempting to catch the vampire, Shaggy and Scooby plow into her trying to catch a bat they believe is Fred.
Art of Darkness!: Randy Warsaw destroys her glasses while making her into his new muse. However, Velma doesn't seem to mind that and later even says that she should take them off more often because she looks hot blurry. This is also the longest period of time she has had them off.
Theater of Doom: While researching Friar Serra she trips and loses them, meeting face to face with his mummy upon finding them. A chase ensues.
Some Fred Time: An obsessed Fred "unmasks" Velma by taking her glasses as she flails around.
Night of the Upsetting Shorts: Velma deliberately breaks her glasses, shouting "Not cool Jones", when she first sees Fred in his shorts. She almost breaks a second pair under the same circumstances.
When Urkel-Bots Go Bad!: Velma loses them twice. The first when Urkel throws her glasses away to demonstrate the homing function he has added to them. The second is during the chase in the submarine.
Now You Sia, Now You Don't!: She is not wearing them when woken by Shaggy and Scooby-Doo, and utters her usual line.
Quit Clowning: Velma finds her glasses after escaping the locked sound booth
Quit Clowning!: When Velma is abducted by Pazzo, her glasses fall off just before she is locked in a sound-proof booth.
What a Night, for a Dark Knight!: Velma tries to save Shaggy and Scooby-Doo from the Man-Bat. However, Velma is then abducted by Man-Bat and all Shaggy and Scooby-Doo find is her glasses on the floor.
The High School Wolfman's Musical Lament!: She doesn't actually lose them, but she sings about losing them - "I can't see without my glasses, but I see every clue".
Space Station Scooby: She loses them in zero gravity when the Tardigrade Monster attacks from the air vent above. She grabs them as they float in front of her. We actually see the blurred scene through her eyes as she puts them back on.
The Last Inmate!: Velma loses her glasses, and is then shown being interviewed by Morgan Freeman. He asks if Velma has ever considered contact lenses. We then see a flashback where Velma has lost her contact lens, and searches while saying "My contact lens. I can't see without my contact lens". Velma then declares that glasses are more her style.
A Moveable Mystery!: After tripping on the catwalk - we hear Velma say "My Glasses" off screen, but don't see her without them.
Caveman on the Half-Pipe!: While asleep in bed, her glasses sitting on the bedside table, she flails around and says "My glasses, my glasses. I can't dream without my glasses!"
Lost Soles of Jungle River!: They fall off as she leans over the side of the boat, but she catches them before they hit the water.
Scooby-Doo and the Sky Town Cool School!: Velma and Daphne are trying to make a cool entrance through a door, but when Daphne accidentally nudges Velma her glasses fall off. She bends over and picks them up, saying "My glasses", but when she stands back up she nudges Daphne who falls over.
Velma (episode): Velma's glasses fall off as she recoils from the appearance of an angst-ridden Fred in the alley behind Spooner's Malt Shop. However, she does not fall over or make any comment as she puts them back on.
Velma Makes a List: Velma is jostled by a group of guys rushing to gawk at the hot girls, falls to the ground and her glasses fall off. She replaces them without comment.
The Brains of the Operation: Velma is about to enter Dr. Perdue's lab when she falls. She scrabbles around on the ground for them, and says "I hope this doesn't keep happening".

Scooby-Doo! and the Witch's Ghost: When Shaggy and Scooby run into them, Velma and Ben Ravencroft both lose their glasses. However, they initially find and put on the wrong pair before handing them back.
Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase: In the wax museum, when startled by Old Ironface, Velma and Cyber Velma bump into each other, fall to the ground and lose their glasses. They scrabble on the floor and find their glasses, each replacing them on the other's face.
Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire: While searching for Daphne in a dark cave inside Vampire Rock, Velma trips on a rock and her glasses slip off her. When she puts them back on, she finds herself face to face with the three Wildwind Vampires.
Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico: When being chased, Velma takes off her glasses and poncho and puts them on a cactus. This fools the monster who hugs the cactus and flees in pain. Velma then puts her glasses back on without comment.
Scooby-Doo! in Where's My Mummy?: While running away from the army of the undead, Velma trips on the floor and her glasses slip off her. While trying to find them, Velma ends up crawling into a secret chamber where she receives her glasses from someone who turns out to be one of the undead who "turns" her into a statue.
Scooby-Doo! and the Samurai Sword: Inside the Temple of 1000 Steps, when Shaggy and Scooby fall on top of Velma, she loses her glasses, and she says her usual line. The glasses end up on Shaggy, who exclaims "That's funny, I can't see a thing withyour glasses".
Blowout Beach Bash
Scooby-Doo! Legend of the Phantosaur: When Shaggy is learning to ride a motorcycle, Velma and Winsor both lose their glasses (offscreen), presumably as they try to avoid being run over.
LEGO Scooby-Doo! Blowout Beach Bash: In the chase scene, she trips and loses her glasses, quickly puts them back on and, seeing the pirate captain attempting to attack her, runs away.
Scooby-Doo! and the Gourmet Ghost: When Velma and Daphne go searching for clues outside, Velma trips over a thick electrical cable causing her to stumble and lose her glasses. Luckily, Daphne is there to give them back.
Happy Halloween, Scooby-Doo!: While Velma does not lose her glasses, the trope is subverted. Miss Hasselbaum falls and loses her glasses when Fred and Velma arrive to rescue her. She exclaims "My glasses. I can't see without my glasses!" as she scrabbles on the ground trying to find them.
Bravo Dooby-Doo: A spoof of this occurs, after Shaggy and Scooby accidentally knock Velma and Johnny Bravo over. As expected, Velma is crawling on the ground looking for her glasses saying "My glasses! I can't see without my glasses!" But Johnny Bravo is also doing the same, shielding his eyes with his hand and saying "My glasses! I can't be seen without my glasses!" as he tries to find his sunglasses. They both pick up each other's glasses and put them on. "Jinkies! Everything's dark! I've gone blind!" Velma cries out as she reacts to wearing Johnny's sunglasses. So Johnny switches their glasses, and as Velma smiles back at him, he firmly tells her "I'm only gonna say this once. Don't touch the glasses."
The Scooby-Doo Project: As the gang were walking through the dark woods, Velma told everyone to wait up because she lost her glasses, much to Fred's frustration since he kept telling her to get a glasses strap. She told them help her look for them, but Fred pans the camera down, showing her glasses and gets even more annoyed. Fred finally asked where Velma went, and Daphne said she wandered off.
Scooby-Doo! Haunted Holidays: While searching for clues, Shaggy and Scooby run into her, knocking her glasses off. After retrieving them she says "Now I wish I couldn't see at all" at the sight of the monster snowman.
Cartoon Network NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest 2023: Velma loses her glasses twice while commentating on the sidelines. On both occasions she utters the "I can't see..." line. The first occasion is when Scooby-Doo is scared and jumps into her arms. The second is when she is hit in the back of the head by a basketball. This time we see her on her knees on the basketball court feeling for them - as the competition continues only feet away.
Live-action films[]
Scooby-Doo: Daphne proves she's not the only vulnerable one by snatching Velma's glasses from her face. In response, Velma immediately hits the ground, waving her arms around feeling for them. Later, when the monster falls from the ceiling, she somehow loses them (not shown how) possibly from the milling crowd of people.
Monsters Unleashed: She falls through a ship pipe and falls on the ground, losing her glasses in the aftermath. This is also the only film where the character considers switching to contact lenses.
Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins: Whilst the gang are being chased by the ghosts, Velma trips. She complains about Shaggy stepping on her glasses and breaking them.
Scooby-Doo! Classic Creep Capers: Velma is captured and tied to a pole by a rope in the last room of the Prehistoric Wing and her glasses are taken away and left in the Tomb Room of the Egyptian Wing.
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Adventures
Scooby-Doo! Showdown in Ghost Town: Velma got shoved by the Faceless Rider in the sheriff's office, when Shaggy and Scooby investigates the jail cell.
Scooby-Doo! Phantom of the Knight: When checking out Wizard Amziani's scrolls, she accidentally knocks her glasses off. One of the scrolls that Velma accidentally knocked is the map of a maze.
Scooby-Doo! Night of 100 Frights: Velma is captured in a cage above the ground that Scooby-Doo breaks, causing her to fall and lose her glasses.
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Mayhem: Velma explains to Shaggy and Scooby that she "was following a rather strange looking ghost and then tripped over a book and lost them".
Double Trouble: Velma tries this trick on her evil double, failing because the double's glasses are only for disguise purposes.
Caves of Castle Finn: Velma reaches for her glasses while a hairy monster is running around. She apparently lost them for a while as it's shown a few pages later they are found.
Who's Who in Scooby-Doo: This story also features running twice past the same background. She trips and uses Shaggy's “shirt” to clean her glasses.
Oh No, Not Again!: Uses the phrase "I can't find my glasses" by Velma as a punchline: the lost glasses are drinking glasses.
A Wolf in Creep's Clothing: In a question and answer session at a convention, Velma is asked why she doesn't get contact lenses and solves the problem. She looks annoyed.
Night of the Jinkies: She loses her glasses falling down a pit and reaches for them right before seeing the Jinkies.
Family Monster: Velma loses her glasses when she fails to unmask the Frankenstein Monster of Castle Von Dinkley, and this causes her to stumble into a secret laboratory where she finds a clue. This story has one blurred panel depicting things from Velma's point-of-view.
Jinkies!: She had her original glasses taken and replaced by ones that made it look like she was seeing a ghost.
