Wayne Bowman is the former warden of the island prison, the Vault.

Physical appearance[]

Warden Bowman is a thin, Caucasian male with receding grey hair. He wore dark grey pants, a striped grey waistcoat over a white shirt, and two-toned (black and grey) shoes. He also wore a black tie and a badge with a gold star.

Personality[]

Initially, he first seemed to be well-mannered and friendly to Fred. His motto was, "Evidence never lies."

However, it was revealed that Bowman was an incredibly scandalous man who wanted to prevent prisoners from leaving his prison, even if it meant hiding evidence and intercepting prison mail.

History[]

Early life[]

When alleged heist perpetrator Stealin' Stan was falsely accused of a crime, he was found guilty and sent to the Vault. Bowman knew that Stan was innocent, but nevertheless prevented him from leaving the prison for many years. He hid evidence of Stan's innocence, keeping it in a safe, and intercepted letters from Stan requesting a retrial.

Stan eventually escaped his cell, living in a hideout in the prison walls. Stan posed as his own ghost so that he could sneak into the warden's office, open the safe and obtain the evidence. Bowman was forced to close his prison because of the constant hauntings.

Be Cool, Scooby-Doo![]

When Stan's ghost was captured and his identity was revealed, it was also revealed that Bowman deliberately attempted to prevent Stan from leaving the prison legally. Although Bowman was not responsible for the hauntings, he was arrested by prison guard Ravi for the obstruction of justice.
