Winslow Stanton is the founder of Monstrous Fright and Magic, and co-creator of mubber.

Physical appearance[]

Stanton is an overweight male with dark brown hair [Note 1] and he has a circle beard. Stanton wears an unzipped blue jacket with white sleeves and it has the Monstrous Fright and Magic company logo on the right side of the jacket. Stanton also wears an orange button-up shirt under his jacket, gray pants supported by a black buckled belt, and black shoes.

Personality[]

Winslow is a very prideful man taking great pride in his work and will boast about his creations at any opportunity. Winslow is quick to anger as seen when he accused Jed with little evidence. Despite having a large ego Winslow is very charring as seen when he quickly tried to make amends for the wrongs he did too Marcy.

Early life[]

Winslow founded Monstrous Fright and Magic. He also invited Mubber with the help of Marcy but only he got credit for it.

Monstrous Fright and Magic []

While Mystery Inc. was exploring Monstrous Fright and Magic they encounter Winslow and Marcy. Winslow explains the various properties of Mubber. When Fred tells them that their friends of Jed Jones Winslow becomes very aggressive accusing Jed of stealing his inventions and reprogramming his robots. When Velma asks Stanton how is he so sure its Jed Stanton tells her that Jed's missing and so are some of Stanton's Mubber, UV lamps, and some animatronics that's all the proof Stanton needs.

Harum Scare'em at the Museum (DS) []

At some point, the real Winslow Stanton freed Jed from the Beast of Bottomless Lake costume. After the gang reveals that the imposter Winslow was really Marcy. Velma explains that Marcy’s plan was to frame Stanton, not Jed. Stanton then asks Marcy why she did it, She then explains that even though Mubber was their creation he took all the credit for it. Marcy thought if she ruined Stanton’s name she could start her own business. Stanton tells Marcy that he had no idea how she felt and he would love to have her as a partner if she can forgive him and Marcy forgives him and they make up.

After the gang reveals that the imposter Winslow was really Marcy. Velma explains that Marcy was trying to frame Stanton all along. Stanton then asks Marcy why she did it, Marcy says she did it because she helped to create Mubber but Stanton took all the credit. Marcy thought if she gave Stanton a bad name she could start her own business. Stanton explains that he didn't know that Marcy felt this way that she should have talked to him about it and that destroying the reputation of Monstrous Fright and Magic would destroy Mubber. Stanton apologizes to Marcy and offers her to become his partner if she can forgive him and Marcy agrees and the two of them shake hands.

Notes/trivia[]

  • Adam West, who voiced Winslow, is well known for his role as the titular character of the 1960s Batman TV series, which could be the reason Scooby-Doo gets a bat suit at some point in the game.
