This article is about Daphne's mother in standard continuity. For other incarnations, see Mrs. Blake (disambiguation).

Elizabeth[1] Blake is the wife of Nedley and the mother of Daphne.

Physical appearance[]

Elizabeth Blake looks dramatically different in her two appearances on A Pup Named Scooby-Doo. In Robopup, she is full-figured with blonde, curly hair, wears a white pearl necklace and earrings, and wears a sleeveless dress colored in multiple shades of green. In Horror of the Haunted Hairpiece, she is a short redhead who strongly resembles Daphne, with the same hairdo and headband, and wearing a pink buttoned shirt, red skirt, and her pearl necklace and earrings are red.

Her older appearance in No Thanks, Masked Manx is closer to the latter, since she has red hair, though it is shorter. She wears a short, blue, sleeveless dress, a pink hat with a blue flower on it, and a light blue pearl necklace.

Personality[]

During Daphne's pre-teen years, Elizabeth shared a lot of personality traits that Daphne had at the time, such as a strong disbelief in ghosts and monsters and being highly concerned with Daphne's appearance, criticizing her for fainting since she could've wrinkled her dress. Once Daphne grew up, she seemed to lose these traits and become more down-to-earth.
