The Fright Hound is a monstrous version of Scooby-Doo that was created by Jason's Mother. It's vocal effects are provided by Fred Tatasciore.
Physical Appearance
At first, the Fright Hound looks identical to Scooby, the main difference being its face, which looks considerably baggier and more threatening, with visible teeth sticking out even when its mouth is closed and piercing red eyes. After its skin is shot off in the Asylum, a metallic endoskeleton is revealed underneath.
Powers and Abilities
Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated
The Fright Hound first attacked the Bus that Angie Dinkley was giving tours in. Scooby and the gang arrive and discover that the bus was attacked by a weredog-like creature. Sheriff Stone grabs Scooby, handcuffs him and takes him to jail because he thinks he attacked the bus.
Mystery Inc. go to the Animal Asylum to get Scooby back because the Fright Hound knows he's there. They're too late, as the Fright Hound arrives moments after they do. Armed Police shoot off a skin, revealing it to be a robot. It attacks, and they escape in the ensuring chaos.
Then, they go to an old factory where the Fright Hound attacks the gang. The Fright Hound attacks Velma and Shaggy, but Scooby fights it.
The Fright Hound was hit and torchered by the dangerous obstacles, but it was still operational, so Scooby crushed it. The Fright Hound is finally destroyed.
The Fright Hound's creator was revealed to be Jason's Mom. She saw how the gang treated her son, so she created the Fright Hound and framed Scooby, hoping to destroy the gang. (Howl Of The Fright Hound)
