This article is about the restaurant. For its dessert namesake, see Fruitmeir's (dessert).

Fruitmeir's is a dessert restaurant in Crystal Cove, owned by Franklin Fruitmeir. It named after the owner and its signature (and only) dessert.

Physical appearance[]

The restaurant has a clown theme. The owner always dresses as a clown and makes things out of balloons. Some of the waitresses wear extra makeup to look a bit like clowns also. They also wear a hat that looks like a cup of Fruitmeir's dessert.

History[]

Early history[]

Franklin arrived in town a couple of months ago, so the restaurant was opened at some point during that time.[1]

Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated[]

Season one[]

Business at Fruitmeir's

Waitresses work, while Fruitmeir entertains.

Shaggy Rogers and Scooby-Doo worked undercover there in female disguises to investigate if Franklin Fruitmeir was connected to the Slime Mutant.[1]

Fruitmeir's had been one of the damaged businesses in a fight between the Humungonauts.[2]

Shaggy & Scooby suggested 'investigating' there for clues involving the vampire, to which Fred Jones, Jr. actually agreed to (or fell for).[3]

Season two[]

It was destroyed by Crybaby Clown.[4]

Appearances[]

Notes/trivia[]

  • There's clearly something dodgy going on, as Franklin doesn't even know what his own dessert is made of, and the large storage room in the back of Fruitmeir's contains six barrels with radiation symbols on them, and many more smaller containers with that symbol.
  • While Fruitmeir only appeared in the first episode, the restaurant is seen and mentioned several times after that, usually as collateral damage from a monster attack.
