He helped Milissa Wilcox, Arlene Wilcox's twin sister to scare her away. He was the first to inform the town of the ghost and was believed to be a good friend of Arlene. This was not true, however, for he had designed the costume for the Ghost Witch of Old Salem, the disguise of Arlene's twin, based on their ancestor Milissa Wilcox, who was accused of being a real witch.
