The Ghost Clown has the appearance of a stereotype clown; a silly costume, and lots of make-up on his face. What separates him from a normal clown, is the evil grin on his face.

Season one
The Ghost Clown hypnotized Scooby-Doo, Daphne and Shaggy, respectively, in to doing dangerous acts in Mr. Barnstorm's circus, causing mayhem. He went against the circus because he was sent to prison after he was caught stealing at the circus.
During this he got hypnotized himself into believing he was a chimpanzee by Shaggy and Scooby who used two mirrors to deflect his powers.[1]
