Season one[]

Mr

Mr. Clive unmasked.

The disguise was based on Benedict Arnold, an American military officer who served the Americans in the American Revolutionary War. However, Arnold defected and sided with the British army. He passed away in 1801 of delirium caused by disease.

In a conspiracy with engineer Mr. Wilit and an unnamed accomplice, Mr. Clive, a guard at the Smithsonian Museum, disguised themselves as the ghosts of famous defectors William Demont, Major Andre and Benedict Arnold respectively in order to burrow into a nearby mint and steal freshly-printed money. They posed as wax figures to prevent being caught by guards at night.

The ghosts were caught after having a biplane fall on them. Clive was revealed to be the culprit responsible for Benedict Arnold's ghost and he was arrested. However, even had they succeeded, the stolen money would have been invalid because the banknotes lacked the treasury seal, treasurer's signature and the serial numbers.

Appearances[]

Notes/trivia[]

  • There is an impossible scene where Mr. Clive is standing in front of the tableau talking to the kids about Scooby, and then he moves off and all three of the figures move.
