Notable role(s) Daphne Blake

Heather North Kenney is a retired American actress and voice artist. She is most notable as having performed the voice of Daphne Blake in almost all incarnations of Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo Saturday morning cartoon series. Before that she started her career on the soap opera, Days of our Lives. She also starred opposite Kurt Russell and Raffles the Chimpanzee in Disney's The Barefoot Executive.

North was the second actress to voice Daphne; she replaced Stefanianna Christopherson after the first season of Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! due to the latter getting married and moving away. She continued to voice Daphne until 1997 (not counting A Pup Named Scooby-Doo), when Mary Kay Bergman took over. She returned temporarily for the retro-styled DTV films, Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire and Scooby-Doo! and the Monster of Mexico.

Voice roles

Technically, Daphne's surname wasn't revealed until The New Scooby and Scrappy Doo Show. Although, the end credits didn't specify any role North played until she returned for Scooby-Doo! and the Legend of the Vampire.
