Angel, the principal and Speed Buggy arrived with Scooby, Jabberjaw, and Captain Caveman. Scooby and the sidekicks saved the gang and the day and Scooby unmasked Lord Infernicus, revealing Funky Phantom underneath! Funky Phantom couldn't take it anymore from being a sidekick. He wanted to become the leader of the meddling kids. He created a skeleton fire phantom to scare people away and capture the meddling kids. He even ditched his cat Boo. He then was going to send all the kids to back to Africa where they belong. He then used guinea pigs and made small meddling kids clothes and puts them on the guinea pigs and that way Scooby and the sidekicks will be confused.

He would have gotten away with it if it weren't for Scooby-Doo and his sidekicks. Boo the ghost cat became angry for being lied to and attacked Funky Phantom.[1]
