Julie wanted to help her brother Ryan get a mysterious story for his paper. She had a series of monster painting done, with the monster collecting a series of stolen items as they went on. (Actually nothing was stolen; Ryan just hid the items within the stores they came from). She replaced paintings when the gang wasn't looking. (Fright Ride)
