Kevin Smith is an American actor, filmmaker, and public speaker, as well as, comic book writer, author, comedian/raconteur, and podcaster. He gained attention from his 1994 low-budget film, Clerks, which he also starred in as Silent Bob. The success of the film led to several loose sequels. Since 2012, he has starred in the reality show, Comic Book Men.
